I believe in the power of laughter! I know that God uses it to lighten a mood, soften hardend hearts and to make a common ground for compromise. Sometimes a situation is changed just because we have the ability to find a little bit of humor. Over my lifetime of experiences of growing up in a broken home, suffering several health issues and miscarriages, being married for almost 18 years and raising two kids....I can tell you first hand that I give thanks everyday for the ability to laugh. I can tell you that when my husband informed me that he was being called to leave his salary paying and benefit giving church position to plant a church.....for no income or benefits....laughter came in handy. Three years after that conversation and the biggest step in our faith we have ever been asked to take, we are praising God for a healthy, active and growing church that we are blessed to be a part of.
